December 18: A Blue Christmas
We think of Christmas as a time of joy and excitement. However, because of the emphasis on family, gifts and celebration, it can also be a poignant time when we are particularly aware of the losses of our life. On the Sunday before the longest night of the year, we will take some time to welcome Christ into all of our life, especially the places that feel empty of Christmas cheer.
December 24: Christmas Eve at 10 p.m.
A traditional service of carols, candlelight and communion. This is perhaps the loveliest service of the year.
December 25: Christmas Morning at 10 p.m.
This year, Christmas morning falls on a Sunday. Take a break from the presents, stockings, and breakfasts to gather with your church family as we celebrate Jesus’ birth. The dress code for the day is casual—come in relaxed Christmas morning attire(even PJ's if you want!). Sing some carols and rejoice in the most important gift of all—the gift of Emmanuel, God with us. Our friends from Calvary Presbyterian will be joining us.
January 1: New Year's Morning at 10 p.m. At Calvary Presbyterian
Begin the New Year with worship. Commit the coming year to the Lord. Since Calvary Presbyterian is joining us on Christmas morning, we will join them at Calvary for this service. Calvary Presbyterian is located at 3400 Lemay Ferry Road in Mehlville.
